What If I Sell Products In Multiple Colors?

3D Print Force supports selling any of your models in multiple color. Below are the steps that need to be taken to insure accurate accounting for models sold in multiple colors.

1. Make sure all color options offered to your customers are logged in 3D Print Force as Filaments.

Each unique filament color you offer should have its own filament entry.

Side note: Sometimes we may have "marketing colors" for products we sell. For example our "Dark Red" filament in 3D Print Force may be called "Ruby Red" on our sales platform.

If this is the case make sure you list any "marketing colors" for each filament by clicking the banner icon. By doing so any orders received using the "marketing color" will use the linked filament to calculate the models COGS and filament stock levels.

2. Ensure that any model that has parts sold in multiple colors has the "custom color" boxed checked on the edit model pop up.

Side note: If any model is only offered in one color then ensure "Custom Color" is not checked. Any order received for this model will then use the filament listed on the edit model popup for COGS calculations.

IMPORTANT: If a model has multiple filaments, and each filament has its own color options when purchasing. Ensure that the filaments are listed in the same order as the variations on your sales platform.
